A construction inspector performs inspection tasks on construction activities to ensure they comply with the applicable codes, specifications, and standards. He/she also documents the construction projects that do not conform to the code as well as determines a suitable resolution.

Duties related to this role include inspecting aspects of construction on the job site, inspecting the quality of work and quality of materials used in the construction, maintaining records of the projects inspected, take part in the construction of various structures, preparing reports on the inspections done, verify that only approved materials are used in construction, coordinates surveying and material testing sub-consultants and provides technical guidance when need arises.

Instructions

  1. Rating: Rate the employee against the core skills based on how well he/she demonstrates each skill. Give scores 1, 2, or 3 for each rating depending on the employee's performance.
  2. Comments: Use this area to give examples of employee's performance phrases. The phrases should describe how well an employee has performed on previously set goals based on the given core skill.
