A before and after school daycare worker is responsible for creating and marinating a safe, sound and developmentally appropriate program and environment for the children enlisted under his/her care before and after they go to school. He/she will ensure to treat the children with respect and ensure that all the daycare equipment is clean, safe and in top shape at all times.

Other functions that he/she can also perform include; provide schedules for activities when children are out of school, conduct emergency procedure if necessary, develop and maintain proper documentation for each child, develop daily activities, give appropriate feedback to the parents, supervise the children at times and teach the children some of the basic skills they need to know.

  1. Rating: Rate the employee against the core skills based on how well he/she demonstrates each skill. Give scores 1, 2, or 3 for each rating depending on the employee's performance.
