A senior civil engineer has the mandate to assess if a civil project has met its requirements. He/she is also responsible for evaluating the feasibility of the site, where the project will be erected by drawing conclusions from the engineering design.

Other specific duties of the engineer include developing schematic designs and drawings depending on the requirements of the civil project. He/she also examines the layouts and designs of the construction projects as well as leading and supervising the engineering support staff.   1. Rating: Rate the employee against the core skills based on how well he/she demonstrates each skill. Give scores 1, 2, or 3 for each rating depending on the employee's performance.
