A claims specialist is responsible for investigating a customer's claim. They focus on finding if the client is covered by the company and the stake that the company will need to pay. He/she keeps all the records of the insurance holders and making a follow up when a claim is made.

Other responsibilities of the specialist include. He/she acts as the mediator between the insurer and the person insured or whose property has been insured with the company.   1. Setting Goals: List specific goals in the space provided below each competency under "Performance Goals". Assign an appropriate timeline for each goal as well as numeric or financial terms to measure the goal.
  2.
