A civil CAD designer utilizes a computer program to sketch, scale, and refine graphical drawings for bridges, road maps, and other building projects. He/she may work at the office or may be involved in a bit of field work depending on the task.

Besides designing bridges and other construction projects, he/she works together with the project engineers and managers in the planning by finding out the cost of labor and materials and may work on projects that are more specialized including on erosion control structures, traffic management, and wastewater controls. Instructions

  1. Rating: Rate the employee against the core skills based on how well he/she demonstrates each skill. Give scores 1, 2, or 3 for each rating depending on the employee's performance.
